My stay at Bluewaters Hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the seafront, the room left much to be desired with an overpowering smell that I couldn't shake. The staff were wonderfully accommodating, which helped soften some of the disappointments during my stay.

Rooms

I found the room clean, but it had a really strong musty odor that I couldn't get rid of, even after opening the windows. There were hardly any plug sockets, which made it a challenge to charge devices. The layout was decent but definitely in need of some updates.
Service
5.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Graham who allowed us to watch TV in another room when ours didn’t work. However, the night porter I encountered had poor people skills that detracted a bit from my experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location is one of its best features. Being right across from the seafront and close to main attractions made it convenient for exploring Blackpool. I appreciated being close to the action without the noise from busy pubs.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was basic but met my needs. The breakfast options were good, though I found the toast to be lukewarm by the time my meal arrived. The servers were lovely, which made dining a bit more enjoyable.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included a bar with entertainment and a games room, which my kids loved. I didn't get a chance to use the indoor pool, but it looked inviting. Parking was limited and came with an extra charge, which was a bit disappointing.

My stay at Bluewaters Hotel Blackpool had its highs and lows. On the plus side, I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. However, the room we were in felt outdated and had some serious issues, like inadequate heating and a strange cold tap situation. While the location is fantastic, close to the seafront and local attractions, I don't think I would return after this experience.

Rooms

The room was quite dated and had persistent heating issues. Although it was supposed to be warm, it felt uncomfortable due to the lack of proper ventilation.

The breakfast buffet was really good, offering plenty of hot and delicious options that kicked off my day nicely. Dinner choices were varied and faultless as well.

While the indoor pool was a great feature, the overall facilities felt in need of refurbishment to enhance the experience.

I had a pleasant stay at Bluewaters Hotel Blackpool, enjoying its great location along the seafront and the friendly service from the staff. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable, though the decor felt a bit dated and could use some refreshing. I was disappointed that the pool was closed for maintenance during my visit, but the breakfast was excellent, making for a nice start to each day.

Rooms

My room was clean and spacious with comfortable bedding, but it could use some TLC due to dated decor. I did experience a drafty window, but the warmth of the weather compensated for it.

I had a mixed experience at Bluewaters Hotel. While the room was clean and had a lovely sea view, the dining options, particularly dinner, left much to be desired. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making my stay feel welcoming, despite some issues with the facilities like the faulty lift. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but improvements in dining and maintenance would enhance the experience. 🌊😊

I had a mixed experience at Bluewaters Hotel in Blackpool. The location opposite the beach was fantastic for exploring the area, but the room I stayed in was quite dated. Although the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, there were several aspects of the hotel that were in need of improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in needed an update. It had old furniture, and the windows were condensation-covered, which blocked the sea view. The bed was comfortable, but the shower was frustratingly weak, and there were some maintenance issues.
Service
8.0
The staff were genuinely fabulous. They went out of their way to help, like when I requested a hairdryer, which arrived almost instantly. I did appreciate how responsive they were to any complaints I raised.
Location

The hotel’s location was one of its highlights. Right on the seafront, it was just a short stroll to various attractions. It felt accessible yet removed from the hustle and bustle of the center.

Breakfast was a real standout. The buffet had a great selection, and the food was hot and tasty. I also enjoyed dinner; the quality of the meals was surprisingly good, with diverse options to choose from.
Facilities

While the hotel offers decent facilities, they could use some upgrades. The indoor pool was enjoyable, and it allowed me to relax despite the weather. However, some amenities felt a bit worn out.
